A spicy and aromatic Thai-inspired stir fry featuring fresh basil and tender chicken.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- ½ tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ onion, minced
- 6 hot thai chiles, minced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb. boneless chicken, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh thai basil leaves
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, water, and sugar in bowl; set aside
- Stir fry onions, chiles, and garlic in oil until garlic just starts to brown
- Add chicken and stir fry until almost cooked
- Add bell pepper, green beans, and prepared sauce and stir fry until chicken is fully cooked
- Remove from heat and stir in basil
- Serve with rice and optionally, top with a fried egg
