Pesto Pasta Recipe

A creamy and flavorful pesto pasta with fresh garlic and melted mozzarella.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb penne
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 7 oz fresh pesto
  • 8 oz heavy cream
  • 16 oz mozzarella
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook penne according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute
  4. Add fresh pesto and heavy cream to the skillet and stir to combine
  5. Add mozzarella and grated Parmesan and stir until melted and smooth
  6. Add cooked penne to the sauce and toss to coat
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  8. Serve immediately
