Tuna Salad Recipe

A classic tuna salad with crisp celery, red onion, and dill pickle for added flavor and texture.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz can solid, water-packed tuna
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup finely diced celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill pickle
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste (about ½ and ⅛ teaspoon respectively)

Instructions

  1. Drain the tuna and flake it into a large mixing bowl
  2. Add mayonnaise and mix gently to combine
  3. Add diced celery, red onion, and chopped dill pickle
  4. Add lemon juice and mix all ingredients together
  5. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld
